In the app

1. Open Me.
2. Choose Delete my account.
3. Confirm. The app asks our server first and wipes your phone only after the server confirms.

What is erased

Immediately: your push address, keys, queued messages, profile, recovery email, contact requests and invites; uploaded files are set to expire at once. We keep a bare account record and any reports about you or by you for up to 30 days, then purge. Encrypted backups of our database age out within 35 days. Messages already delivered to other people's phones stay on their phones; we cannot remove them.

If you cannot open the app

Write to support@whitesun.mv [CONFIRM] from your recovery email, or tell us your WSMsg ID. We will ask you to prove control of the account.
